K.I.K. ( Kentuckiana Isshinryu Karate ) currently meets twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:30 until 8:50p.m.  For more information please contact TJ.

K.I.K. was founded in 1996 by TJ Rodeghier.  TJ has been a student of Isshinryu Karate for over 27 years.  He has studied under Sensei Stan Mount and Sensei John Lennox. TJ earned his black belt in 1990 and currently holds the rank of 6th dan.  K.I.K. is associated with the IWKA (Isshinryu World Karate Association).  Assisting Sensei TJ with his teachings are Sensei Cynthia Wood,Sensei Don Calvert, and our newest black belt Ian Tex.

At K.I.K. students study the following:

  • Self defense
  • Kata (prearranged simulated fight)
  • Kumite (Sparring)
  • Traditional Okinawan Weaponry (Bo, Sai, and Tonfa)

Due to upcoming Holidays and family events, classes are scaled back a bit for November and December.

November classes are the 13th, 20th, & 25th.

December classes are the 4th & 11th.

Normal class schedule resumes Jan.6th, 2015!!
